More Spam Comments than Hits

either WP-Spamfree is showing me wrong result or my hit counter is not working well..

I just saw ” WP-SpamFree has blocked 16, buy cialis 422 spam comments! ” in my Admin panel.

This is weird. Because my site hits are 9410 . its very less compared to Spam Comments . This is also one of the reason of my Google Analytic use.

Probably its time for me to digg into the CGI / PHP counter mechanism.

    That’s actually probably normal. I get similar results. Spambots don’t hit pages that are tracked by hit counters, because most of them are JavaScript based. Spambots hammer websites…sounds about right to me.
